The winery was founded in 1958.
A pioneer in introducing the latest technology to wine production. It is the largest winery in Navarra. Navarra is a large wine-producing region located in the north of Spain. The vineyard covers an area of 11,500 hectares and produces 573,000 hectoliters of wine annually. The vineyards are located in the southernmost part of the Ribera Baja region of Navarra and are benefited by the Montcayo Mountains, which regulate the temperature. This makes the climate ideal for growing grapes. The winery owns 600 hectares of vineyards. The maximum age of the vines is 50 years, with an average age of 30 years. Vineyard yields are carefully managed and cannot exceed 6,500 kg per hectare.
