SPHERA is a boutique winery specializing in exquisite white wines from the Jewish hills of Israel. As the region’s name suggests, the terrain here is decidedly hilly.

The cool air sinks to the valley floor, giving the region relatively cool temperatures during the day and even cooler temperatures at night. It is precisely this security that allows her to grow high quality grapes.

The resulting dry climate and excellent temperature spectrum are ideal for growing high quality grapes.

Soil types in the Judaean Hills region have the greatest influence on terroir formation. The shallow soils in the vineyards are rich in stones and have excellent drainage.
